My sister and I really enjoyed the lovely weather on Thanksgiving weekend this year, as it meant superb Trash the Dress photos! My sister Trish is a professional make-up artist, and was kind enough to do both mine and her make-up for this photo shoot. I took her photo’s while wearing my wedding gown, and she took mine while wearing hers. We had a blast! And for the record – trashing the dress has nothing to do with our spouses, and everything to do with making use out of a dress we will never wear again.

My best friend Amanda Pelland got married on September 17th, 2011 to Michael Linham in Parry Sound, Ontario. I was happy to be her photographer, and hair dresser (not on purpose) for her wedding day. You can find some more pictures in my wedding gallery from the big day!
My brother in-law Michael and Fiance Yulia got married on September 1st, 2011 at Red Leaves resort. With a short engagement, this couple had a small intimate wedding on the shores of Lake Rosseau in Muskoka. Beautiful! I’m so happy I was asked to be the photographer for this special day.
This is my pike friend I caught in Muskoka this week. It wasn’t intentional, I thought I was caught on a log until I pulled up this big guy. The boys were a little jealous… for good reason.
This little fella’ was found by my husband on the BBQ in the backyard. He had returned after his 30 minute photoshoot to enjoy a well deserved dinner of moths off the window. I think he may like me as he was back the next day too!
Here are some light painting pictures taken from my visit to the cottage with my kids I once cared for. As a nanny and photographer, I need to be sure that they know how to paint with light! Enjoy!
